The Beauty of the City: Islamabad
Islamabad, the administrative capital of Pakistan, boasts of awe-inspiring beauty and serenity. Located in the foothills of the Margalla Hills, it is very ecologically balanced with plenty of greenery as well as modern architecture.
On arriving in Islamabad, one is amazed at the superior hygiene standards and the systematic arrangement of the city. The wide tree-lined roads of the city with flower beds in between are a joy ride to the eyes. The Margalla Hills which sit at the west side of the city have various places for walking, picnics and beautiful sights making the city favorable to those who appreciate nature.
Moreover, the city contains several cultural properties that represent the history and heritage of the people of Pakistan. The Pakistan Monument is a beautifully built national monument situated in the midst of lovely lawns, which is an icon for every Pakistani due to the pride of national integration it represents. The Faisal Mosque, regarded as one of the largest mosques in the world, stands as a beautiful architectural piece that reveals the diversity of cultures in Islamabad.
Another striking aspect is that Islamabad is a commercial city where many multinationals and foreign embassies are located. The city’s modern architecture, advanced health care centers and top rated education facilities encourages many entrepreneur and professionals to relocate to this city.
